Tocino! at "Binalot"

I don't know about you, but Tocino is right up there in my list of favorite Filipino dishes ever! This particular meal (in the photo) was from an establishment called Binalot, named after its ingenuous banana-leaf packaging. The meal comes with rice (duh!), half a salty egg, and a bite-size tomato. I also got some fish sauce (in the white container) to compliment my meal. Yum!

MOS Burger brekkie!

I love MOS Burger!

This nice Japanese fast food chain serves a nice variety of burgers that are smaller in serving compared to its American counterparts. The trademark variety they offer are rice burgers (I'll try to get some pictures out soon!) But their other burgers aren't half bad either, like this bacon and egg burger I had for breakfast one day. The peanut butter in it adds a surprisingly yummy twist to it, and I'm not even a big fan of peanut butter.

I also enjoy their salad very much, and I always opt for their thousand-island dressing. It's one of a kind! The white scoop in the middle is a seafood salad and it's really good!

They have branches all over Taiwan and of course Japan and probably in a few more countries.

Beef Noodles in Taipei

This was taken at my favorite beef noodle place in Taipei. Unlike most beef noodles, the broth they serve the noodles in is comparatively light and may not suit all palates. But I like it this way.

This one is the standard beef noodle variety (NTD120, approx. USD4)

This one is the mixed beef noodle variety (also NTD120, approx. USD4)
