Pork chops

For dinner I made pork chops the way my dad makes them. It was my first try but I think I came really close to the real thing, around 90% I would say. I'm just so proud of myself I called my mom and my dad to brag. Hehe.

Incidentally, my dad and my brother were having pork chops for dinner also. Talk about coincidence!

Fresh Sashimi (Raw Fish) For Sale

Decide for yourself if the head and the tail make the sashimi more appetizing or not. :P

Crepes!

This place looks messy and their presentation doesn't look all that good, but their crepes are actually very tasty and filling! They're not very expensive, too (for Japan); they cost around JPY250. Had my Japanese friend not pointed this place out, I would've continued walking by it like I've always had several times before.

I'm planning to become a regular at this place :D

IUK Cafeteria Food (Don Set)

This set (rice with toppings and noodles) cost 370 yen (approx. 3.7 USD).
It was pretty good and quite affordable considering the cost of living here in Japan, however I regretted ordering this meal because the rice meal would have been enough. (However I don't think that they sell the rice meal solo...)

Both were good, though.
